Dock & Dine - Irene sure took its toll on the poor Dock & Dine, but CT Mag still loves it! Be sure to give them a call to find out when they're reopening.
Old Lyme
The Chestnut Grille at The Bee and Thistle Inn and Spa - CT Mag says that "typical seafood offerings might include soft-shell crabs; house-cured gravlax with crispy potato cake and wild chive crème fraîche; and pan-seared diver scallops with forbidden rice, saffron-lime braised bok choy." Uh, yum!
Old Lyme Inn - It's under new ownership and it has undergone some renovations, but the Old Lyme Inn is back in action! CT Mag says that the inn's new chef, Dennis Young, throws together some "inventive" seafood offerings.
Flanders
Flanders Fish Market - It's a market and a restaurant! CT Mag says it's "famous for its clear clam chowder (it also has New England-style), fish-and-chips (featured on Food Network) and Sunday seafood buffet."
Niantic
La Belle Aurore - CT Mag says this place sure "knows its way around seafood providers" with offerings like "shrimp-and-crab bisque, rainbow trout roasted with herbs and mustard dill sauce, and Stonington sea scallops and shrimp with asparagus, fava beans, bacon and spinach."
Waterford
Sunset Ribs - Though this seasonal favorite is known for its ribs, CT Mag says "there’s a substantial selection of seafood on the menu, including raw bar items, Panko-encrusted baked scallops, blackened mahi-mahi with mango salsa, and boiled or stuffed lobsters straight from the tank."
New London
On The Waterfront - Here's what CT Mag says: "You’ll forgive this seafooder its Rhode Island-style clam chowder, when you sample the fried or baked Stonington sea scallops, fried whole belly clams, Cod Mediterranean and zuppa di pesce fra diavolo."
Groton
Paul's Pasta Shop - CT Mag likes Paul's views of the Thames River, the baked shrimp and the lobster ravioli.
Octagon - Yeah, maybe technically this one's a steakhouse, but CT Mag says the folks at Octagon "excels in the seafood department."
Noank
