Library to Host Five-Part Series with Avalonia Land Conservancy

Programs will focus on water and ecology

 

 

The Groton Public Library and the Avalonia Land Conservancy are teaming up to sponsor a five-part program throughout the spring focusing on water and ecology, The Day reported.

According to the article, the first four sessions will be held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at the library on Feb. 28, March 13, March 27 and April 10. The last session will be held at Avalonia’s Pine Swamp Wildlife Corridor in Ledyard on Saturday, May 5 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

In addition to the series, the Groton Utilities’ water treatment plant will be holding an open house on Saturday, May 12.
