in Groton is planning a "Raise the Dough" fundraiser and is still accepting nominations for local charities, The Day reports.
One charity will be selected, based on community nominations, and donations from the party will benefit the cause.

The event will be held on Monday, March 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. The tasting of new menu items will be available to customers with a $5 donation.
Nominations for Groton-area charities will be accepted through Wednesday, Feb. 29. To nominate a charity, go to the website, select "Contact Us" and be sure to include the charity's name, why it should win, and any other awards the charity has received.
