Chelsea Groton Foundation Grant Application Deadline

The Chelsea Groton Foundation has extended its grant application deadline to Friday, September 14, 2012. Grant application forms may be obtained by visiting http://chelseagroton.com/foundation.php.   Please note this is a new application form.

 

Grant applications must be postmarked no later than Friday, September 14, 2012. 

 

Organizations seeking to apply for a grant must possess a tax exempt 501(c)(3) status or have proof that the organization is governmental unit referred to in section 170 (c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.

 

Chelsea Groton Bank established the regional philanthropic foundation in 1999 with a $2 million endowment.  The foundation's mission is to improve life in southeastern Connecticut and the Westerly, Rhode Island area through financial distributions to charitable and social service agencies serving those regions.  Since inception, the foundation has awarded $1,333,605 to 432 organizations.
