David Stone Joins Chelsea Groton Bank

Chelsea Groton Bank is pleased to announce that David Stone will join the Commercial Lending Department as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer on April 23rd. Stone will be based out of the Franklin Square, Norwich office and will focus his business development efforts across New London County, with a concentration on the Norwich market.


"We are thrilled to add David to our commercial lending team.  With twenty six years of commercial lending experience in Connecticut, David brings a proven record of achievement and will focus his efforts on developing new commercial business in addition to maintaining a commercial loan portfolio," stated Dave Hammerstrom, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for Chelsea Groton Bank.

A graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, Stone earned his bachelor’s degree in Business and Communications.

Stone resides in Hebron and is active in the community serving as a member of the Glastonbury and Windsor Chambers of Commerce, Windsor Rotary Club, and Nation Youth Coaches Association.  He is also a certified AAU basketball coach.
