Got Geocache? Summer in the City Wants You!

The Summer in the City initiative is seeking experienced ‘geo-cachers’ to participate in organizing a Geocaching 101 event in the City of Groton this summer.  Help bring new players to this great game and have some fun with existing and new caches!

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.  Families and individuals of all ages play Geocaching and there are thousands of caches worldwide, including many at local sites!
