The annual Summer SoundWaves Concert Series at Esker Point Beach has been a Groton Parks and Recreation tradition for 25 years. For seven weeks this summer, top local bands will perform concerts on the beach free to the public. The highly anticipated lineup of bands was released today with the Spring/Summer 2014 issue of the DISCOVER program guide. Here are the groups that will be rocking the beach this summer:
June 19 - High Times
June 26 - Rock and Soul Revue, sponsored by Custom Marine Canvas and Mystic Schooners

July 10 - Will Evans Band

July 31 - Sunday Gravy
Concerts are held from 6-8:00 p.m. weather permitting. Rain dates have been scheduled for August 7 and 14 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Convenient parking is available at Esker Point Beach for $10 per car.
