A Ferris Wheel Without The Motor

Later In the Year, It Might Hold Flowers In The Seats

This white Ferris Wheel doesn't run, but if you're buying flowers in town, you might see it.

Do you know where it is?

This week, our shout out goes to Sherry Fritzche, who knew that the statue in last week's photo was taken at the corner of Riverview Avenue and Potter Court, roughly across from Ford's Lobster in Noank. Another reader also guessed the location correctly but did not leave a name.

Fritzche said her father-in-law bought the mermaid statue and put it on top of electric boxes, with Rosa rugosa planted around to hide it. Fritzche's mother-in-law, Patsy Fritzsche, would dress the statue for the season. The couple formerly lived in the house behind it.
