And The PEEPs Contest Winner Is ...

21 entries, 156 votes, and a whole lot of sweet fun! Thanks everyone!

The winner of the Patch's PEEPs art contest is "My Peeps on Sunday Funday," created by Deborah Rolon. It was submitted by her mom, Patch user Heather Flynn! Congrats Deborah! (She even went to the beach to get the sand!)

We had 21 entries and 156 votes in our first-ever Patch's PEEPs art contest, and we thank everyone who made the PEEPs and everyone who voted. We had , from all ages!

The first prize is a $100 gift card to a craft store.

Flynn's entry received 34 votes in the comments section of the original article. Patch user wrote, "My vote is for #14 .. who doesn't love a lazy day at the beach! Whoever made that display is very talented!"

First runner up was the Harley biker PEEPs by Melinda Roberts, with 27 votes.

Patch user wrote, "My vote goes to #15 the Harley Peeps because they are so out of character. Nice job."

A relatively late entry by Timothy Pamment salon garnered lots of last-minute votes (26) and praise for its artistry:"#17, turning peeps into a coiffure that whispers Paris Fashion Week in the Spring time (at least to me it does) est tres jolie et tres originale," wrote Patch user

And the third runner up was PEEPs at Ledge Light, made by Derek F. Watkins of PEEPs and gingerbread, a truly amazing culinary creation: "R U kidding me did u see #11 omg the light house and ocean come on wtg great job!!!! I say u r the winner for sure~ :)," wrote Patch user

Thank you all to everyone who participated and we will see you again in 2013 (good thing PEEPs never go bad!)
