Friends of Sea Scouts Ship 584 are having an auction to support local Sea Scouts. The bidding starts at 6:30 pm. The auction has lots of items from local merchants including a fishing trip, gift certificates, MLS tickets, and a Red Sox baseball signed by John Lester. Admission is free so come on down and take a look. The auction will be held in the John Delaura Auditorium at Groton City Hall near Washington Park. Sea Scouts include boys and girls from all of southeastern Connecticut. Funds raised support their leadership development activities which include boating and community service.
