SUMMER TIME STORYTIME

Summertime’s the best time for Story Time! The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites children to Summertime Story Time every Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. Children will gather in our outdoor program area and enjoy a variety of entertaining stories under the shade of the trees in the library yard. In case of inclement weather we will meet inside the library. No registration is needed: the program begins July 2 and ends August 6. For more information please call the library at 860-445-0392.

Can't make it on Monday mornings! Then try Sun, Sand and Stories at Eastern Point Beach. Look for our special library reader under the umbrella at Eastern Point Beach at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings. Sun, Sand and Stories begins July 5 and runs through August 9. NOTE - a beach pass is required for admission to the beach.

The Bill Memorial Library is located at 240 Monument Street in Groton, near the Groton Monument and Fort Griswold.  The library, now more than 100 years old, has an extensive collection of books and media for adults and children. Visit their web page at http://billmemorial.org.
