The Groton Senior Center held its annual Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday, and more than 100 people attended.
"I like the companionship and I like the food, " said Carole Vachon-Kiesslin, of Mystic. The menu included salad, roasted turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, butternut squash, cranberry sauce, rolls and pies for dessert.
"The entertainment they have is wonderful, and the socializing," said Betty Bridge, of Groton. Karen Wagner, a singer/actress and vocal instructor, performed at the event.
