Join Patch At The MASH Fall Festival

Patch will be at Saturday for the , and we hope to see you there.

With the horse-drawn hayrides, costume contest and ton of other family fun activities the fundraiser for the Mystic Area Shelter & Hospitality, Inc., is the can’t miss weekend event.

Did we mention Patch will be there? And we will be giving out candy and Patch swag? And all the proceeds from the event benefit MASH and their efforts to end family homelessness?

The Saturday, October 29, event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m., with a “Best Costume Contest,” for children ages three to 12.

Patch will be live blogging from the event and giving away lots of candy and other goodies, but we might have already said that. Come down and say hi, and while your child will is in their Halloween costume don’t forget to take their picture and enter it in .

Schedule of Events (from the Olde Mistick Village):

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Fun crafts for kids, balloon artist, local apple cider, "Mile High" apple pie, and other treats for sale.

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Horse-drawn hayrides

10:30 a.m.: Reading of play "The Thanksgiving Story" by the Emerson Theater Collaborative in the Meeting House.

11:30 a.m.: Reading of play "The Thanksgiving Story" by the Emerson Theater Collaborative in the Meeting House.

Noon to 1:30 p.m:  Live music by "Johnny and the East Coast Rockers" at the Village Green.

12:30 p.m.: Reading of play "The Thanksgiving Story" by the Emerson Theater Collaborative in the Meeting House.

1:30p.m. "Best Costume Contest" for ages 3 to 12 with great prizes for best costume in each of three age groups.
