The 60-member organization inspires beauty and raises money for good works in the community.

Mystic Garden Club has announced its officers for the coming year. Candace Briggs will serve as President, Judy Salerno as Vice President, Pam Alexander as Recording Secretary, Joy Molloy as Corresponding Secretary, Phyllis Ball as Treasurer and Joan Pulver as Assistant Treasurer.

The club meets from September through June. Its major fundraiser is the Greens Sale in December that raises over $20,000 to benefit the Community. It also runs a plant sale in June at the Mystic & Noank Library.

Annual donations include the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, the Mystic Art Center and other community organizations. It also awards scholarships to students from the Stonington and Groton area.
