What Else Is Happening?

Monday

  • The Rx-Xpress Bus (provides confidential and private Medicaid and Medicare RX assistance and eligibility screenings, HUSKY (Medical insurance) and SNAP (Food Stamp) applications and information) is in town today from 10 to 2. Appointments are recommended, so call 441-6760.

Tuesday

  • The Groton Rotary Club recently installed new officers! The club meets at 12:15 to 1:30 the first and third Tuesdays of the month but has added a fellowship hour from 5:30 to 6:30 on the other Tuesdays of the month. All meetings at the Octagon restaurant in the Mystic Marriott Hotel on Rt. 117 in Groton.

 Wednesday

  • For kids (and everyone else) Summer Reading: Wiggly Worms! At the Groton Public Library from 2 to 3 p.m.

Thursday

  • Speaking of the library this is cool: from 3 to 4 p.m. via a searchable database, go inside the New York Times from 1851 to the present.
Friday
  • Concerts on the Park, co-sponsored and co-produced by Groton Utilities and the City of Groton Parks and Recreation Department. Washington Park. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. This week it's 9Teen!
