Workers' Memorial Service Sunday Morning

The annual Workers’ Memorial Day ceremony is this morning, Sunday April 28 beginning at 8 a.m. in Washington Park in Groton City at the Workers’ Memorial and is a rain or shine event.
The ceremony is held annually to honor the memory of workers killed, injured or diseased while on the job. The Southeastern Connecticut Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO and AFL-CIO Community Services sponsor the ceremony.
