2012 One Book, One Region Kickoff

The eleventh annual One Book, One Region kickoff will take place on Tuesday, May 8, at 6 p.m. at the Mystic Arts Center.  Geraldine Brooks, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and author of the 2012 “one book,” Caleb’s Crossing, will be introduced to readers at the event. The program is made possible in part by a grant from the Connecticut Humanities Council.

Copies of Caleb’s Crossing will be available for purchase courtesy of Bank Square Books.  Refreshments will be served.

Book discussions and other programs related to the book are planned at libraries in the region this summer; details will be available soon. Ms. Brooks will return to southeastern Connecticut on September 18 to meet local readers.
