The Groton Public Library will sponsor a faery tea party and a book signing with the creators of The Thread Faery on June 9 at 10:30 a.m.

Paula Clifford Scott, who conceived the idea for The Thread Faery and Amy Crockett, the author of the book, will host the tea party complete with wings and wands! Children are welcome to wear whimsical costumes to the event. The tea party is for children ages 4 and up, accompanied by a caregiver. Registration is required due to space limitations. Registration begins June 2.

The Thread Faery honors the lives lost on 9/11. Inspired by Paula Clifford Scott and illustrated by Elaine Mills, author Amy Crockett’s magical tale brings to life the thread faery, whose love is woven through the lives of those who perished that day and those who have lived to share this story.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.

This program is free and open to the public. Please call the Library at 860-441-6750 to register.
