Transcending the horizon by Lacy Martin

Lacy spent her early childhood in Texas and most of her teens in Charleston, South Carolina, where she met her future husband. She got married when she was 20 when he joined the Navy which brought them to Groton, CT in 2008.

A passionate person, Lacy spends her time expressing herself whether it's through artwork, jewelry making, writing, designing, teaching or practicing yoga, or with her dog, Ruby.

Her obsession is life and living simply or simply living. She’s inspired by people; hearing their stories and learning how they got to where they are.

A graphic designer by day and a dreamer by night. Lacy states that she is living the life she’s always imagined. She is thankful for her drive and determination along with the people who have lifted her. “I wouldn't be where I am today without the inspiration all around me.”

I met Lacy through the Mystic Yoga Shala where I attempted to become enlightened. My daughter introduced us and we talked about her art. Lacy’s eagerness impressed me and when I saw her paintings, I asked her to exhibit at the Gallery.  I hope you see the same enthusiasm I did.  Enjoy!

The Exhibit is open Mon - Fri, 12 Noon to 5 pm, Sat by appointment.
