Cool Down With A Frosty, Help CT Children's Medical Center

Wendy's is offering $1 Frosty key tags to support the Connecticut Children's Medical Center

This one's a no-brainer--delicious, chilly treats to help out the Connecticut Children's Medical Center--and it's only $1.

That's right, Wendy's has announced a partnership with the center and is now offering Frosty key tags for $1 at participating locations across the state in Hartford, New London and New Haven areas.

According to the news release, key tags can be purchased through July 1 or while supplies last and offer with purchases through the end of 2012, customers receive a free Jr. Frosty.

“Connecticut Children’s is extremely grateful to Wendy’s and their customers for their generosity,” Martha Schall, President of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation, said in the release.  “Through their support, Wendy’s is helping us fulfill our mission of improving the physical and emotional health of children through family-centered care, research, education and advocacy.”

“We strive to keep Dave Thomas’ ideals and beliefs at the heart of the Wendy’s culture,” Janice Mulhall, president of the Wendy’s Hartford Co-op, said in the release.  “One thing Dave believed was that everyone has a responsibility to give something back, to help those who can’t help themselves. This key tag fundraiser is one way of giving back to the communities where we live and work.”
