The Gathering Place used to be that - a place where lots of folks gathered for food, drink and fun.

The restaurant and bar at 314 Route 12 was open for a long time (anyone know how long?) and closed in 2002. The property is for sale for $950,000.

This is a busy section of Route 12, with a Shell gas station/convenience store on one side of this parcel and a Hess gas station on the other side.
