Need Coffee During the Storm? Cumberland Farms Has Free Coffee for Snow Plow Operators

Stores throughout New England are offering coffee to warm up folks clearing roads.

Cumberland Farms Stores are giving free coffee to utility workers and snow plow operators working throughout New England.

Starting at 6 p.m. today and lasting until 5 a.m. Sunday morning, the stores that remain open will offer a free cup of their Farmhouse Blend to workers clearing snow and keeping utilities going during the blizzard.

"In appreciation for hard working snow plow operators and utility workers dedicated to community safety, Cumberland Farms says ‘Coffee on us,'" the company said in a news release. The company runs convenience stores across 11 states, including Connecticut.
