Mystic March of Dimes Annual Walk Kick-Off Event This Friday at L+M Hospital
MYSTIC, CT – The March of Dimes Connecticut Chapter will be having their annual Kick-Off Event at L+M Hospital’s Baker Auditorium this Friday, March 21, 2014 from 4-6PM. This year’s Chairperson, David Preka, will be hosting the event. David, owner of Advanced Improvements of Mystic, CT, has personally invited fellow community and business leaders to come together and support the incredible work of the March of Dimes while also raising awareness for the upcoming walk.
March for Babies, the organization’s largest annual fundraising event to support its mission to give every baby a healthy start, will be held at Olde Mistick Village on Sunday, May 4, 2014. The event usually has an average attendance of 750 walkers and spectators.
“I must admit that I am so honored and excited to be putting on such an exciting event that will benefit a group that, from what I’ve come to learn, does so much for families right here in our community,” said Preka about the upcoming event. The event is open to the public and anyone interested in learning more about the March of Dimes.
