Mystic Marriott Donates $1000 to Ronald McDonald House Of CT

On behalf of the associates at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, the Waterford Group Charitable Foundation recently made a donation of $1,000 to the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut, as well as a donation from the hotel associates of canned food and other non-perishables to the organization’s food pantry.

The Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut is located in New Haven and provides rooms to families of children who are being treated at nearby hospitals and healthcare facilities. The family of Mystic Marriott’s Executive Chef, Paul Krawic, had utilized the Ronald McDonald House for several months in early 2012 when his children were born prematurely at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Chef Krawic along with his wife and two children were on hand for the check presentation to Wendy Kirby, House Manager for Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut.

“I am honored to be able to represent the Mystic Marriott team as we make this donation to the Ronald McDonald House,” commented Chef Krawic. “They are an incredible organization that has helped so many families in need - including my own - and we are proud to support them.”
