Mystic Marriott Makes $1,000 Donation to Child & Family Agency of Southeastern CT

GROTON, CT (December 20, 2013) --- After holding their recent “Toy Drive-Up”, the team at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton presented a check in the amount of $1,000 as well as dozens of newly collected toys to the Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. The hotel held the toy drive on December 5th, encouraging members of the local community to drive through the hotel’s front entrance with a new, unwrapped children’s toy. The hotel made a significant monetary donation to Child & Family Agency, which included money raised by the Mystic Marriott associates in support of the Waterford Group Charitable Foundation.

“We are proud to be able to present these donations to the Child & Family Agency so they can continue to provide important services to the families in our local community,” commented Farouk Rajab, General Manager of the Mystic Marriott. “We would also like to thank everyone who stopped by the hotel for their contributions during our Toy Drive-Up.
