DISCOVER Spring and Summer with Groton Parks and Recreation

Spring is right around the corner! After this long, cold winter, we are all ready for some warm sun and fresh air. With the warmer weather comes exciting new programming from Groton Parks and Recreation. Our Spring/Summer DISCOVER guide is out featuring 18 new programs for kids and adults, including Spring Break camps for kids, an exciting new fitness program called Twisted Tuesdays with a new class each week, music and art programs for preschoolers, a cooking class for older kids, and pick-up style adult sports. Click here to see a listing of all our new programs.

Summer Camp registration has begun! We have 8 weeks of fun planned for kids ages 3-18 ranging from day camps to special trips to sports camps and LEGO engineering. There’s something for every kid to stay active and make new friends this summer. We are especially excited about our new football, volleyball, and golf camps in partnership with Fitch High School and our baseball camp with the Mystic Schooners. Click here to see all of our camps.

We know many of you look forward to our summer special events all year long, and we are so excited for what we have in store for you this year. With help from our new Presenting Sponsor, Thames Valley Communications, and other special partners, we are bringing you an exciting line-up of bands for the Summer SoundWaves Concert Series at Esker Point Beach, as well as the fun and challenging Tour de Noank 5k road race and kids fun run and the family friendly Fort Griswold Celebration on the Thames. For more information about these events and more, click here to visit our website.
