I have been asked to make a special correction announcement.
I received a message Tuesday from a friend who heard a rumor in Groton that people are not allowed to buy any food supplies at the Noank Community Market unless they are actual members of that new Co-op.
This is absolutely NOT TRUE. Anyone can purchase at the Market. The only difference is that members receive a discount on their purchases.
Should you hear such rumors, please speak up and help correct the misinformation. I do not know from where this info originated and therefore will simply assume it was a misunderstanding.
