Here is an urgent message from Dana Parfitt, a well known resident of the Poquonnock Bridge Fire District:

"Groton friends living in the Poquonnock Bridge Fire District....PLEASE ATTEND the special meeting on Wed, August 1, at 6:30 p.m. at Groton Senior Center. I will be voting NO for any proposed changes to our fire dististrict status and urge you to do the same. Come get the facts and support our current system. We want our services to continue and remain in PB voter control. Please share this information with others in the district."
