Are You The Next Citizen Of The Year?

Or maybe you know someone in Groton who is. The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is seeking nominees for the 2013 Citizen of the Year.

Who is the most civic-minded individual you know in eastern Connecticut? Which man or woman most exemplifies success in business and in community? If a name springs immediately to mind, download the PDF attached to this article and nominate him or her for Citizen of the Year. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 15.

2013 will mark the 63rd year that this award has been given. Last year’s winner was Dr. Grace S. Jones.
