3. The Old Mystic Fire Department will celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Reliance Fire Co. No. 1. From 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday at the station at 21 N. Stonington Road. The event will include fire safety demonstrations, fire prevention education and a food and toy drive.
4. The Groton Chapter of Fresh Connections, a professional women’s networking organization, will gather at 8:45 a.m. today at Webster Bank in Groton.
