2. Today is Cyber Monday. That means you can stay in your pajamas and surf the Web all day today in search of awesome bargains. It might actually be a law. Or, you can get dressed and go to work and shop from there, as more and more people will do this year, according to USA Today.

3. USA Today reports that Black Friday’s doorbusters resulted in wallets bursting all over the nation. “Retail sales broke records during Thanksgiving weekend, hitting an estimated $52 billion in stores and online and more records the National Retail Federation said Sunday,” according to the article.

5. . If you aren’t familiar with this terrific sale, it is worth checking out. And all the proceeds benefit the library, which has been struggling to maintain all its services in the face of budget cuts in the last few years.
