Daily Five: Council OKs Payment For Fitch Ball Field

Five things to know for Wednesday Dec. 21, 2011

2.  The Town Council voted Tuesday night to go forward with paying $139,000 to four vendors owed for their work on the Fitch Ball Field improvements.  The Council met jointly with the Board of Education in a committee of the whole meeting Monday, and agreed to authorize the vendors be paid with department of defense money provided to the schools. The bills are 120 days overdue. The because the project cost about and more than the $500,000
