3. The Gallery At Lighthouse in Groton holds a local artists' opening reception from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the Lighthouse Voc-Ed Center on Long Hill Road. 4. The Animal Welfare League of New London County will be at the Boilmakers Lodge from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday to collect donations for the Have a Heart Tag Sale.
