The Noank School Resuse Task Force drafted the survey to seek public opinion and will consider the answers, as well as whether the building is salvageable if someone can secure financing to repair it. If you haven't filled out the survey, you can access it through the town website or by calling (860) 441-6630.

3.  The sixth annual In The Pink celebration for National Breast Cancer Awareness will include an art show opening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 14 at the at the Atrium at Harris Place in New London. Five galleries will take part in the activities. Last year, 32 women from Groton were diagnosed with breast cancer, according to the Breast Health Task Force of Southeastern Connecticut.
