Groton had its first big snow of the season Saturday, and families drove to the hill at Washington Park to enjoy it.
"It was worth the wait," asid Andrea Kelly, who brought Jack, 6 and Ava, 5, out sledding. The children woke at 6 a.m., and she picked up snow tubes.
"We're hoping they get tuckered out," Ken Kelly said of the kids.
