This story was reported and written by Jake O'Donnell.

A 29-year-old Medford native died in the Boston Marathon terror attacks yesterday, WCVB is reporting.

Krystle Campbell was a 2001 graduate of Medford High, WCVB reported. The Boston Globe reported that Campbell was most recently an Arlington resident.

Her father, William A. Campbell Jr., told Yahoo News that his daughter was at the finish line to cheer on her boyfriend who was running in the marathon. On WHDH, Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn said he spoke with Campbell's family within the last half-hour and offered the city's support and assistance.

McGlynn said that her father called Campbell "the daughter everyone dreamed of having—loved life, very energetic and had a big smile."

CNN.com reported that Campbell's mother, Patty Campbell, gave a statement from the front steps of her home, saying as she choked back tears, that her daughter was "the best", "always smiling" and had a "heart of gold."

Three people died in Monday's bombing, including Campbell and 8-year-old Martin Richard of Dorchester.  The third fatal victim from the Marathon attack has not been identified yet.
