What's Closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day?

We've got the short list of places that are closed for the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Do you know of other places that are closed? Add them in the comments!

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The following businesses are closed:

  • Municipal offices
  • All public schools
  • The Department of Motor Vehicles
  • State and federal courts
  • State offices
  • The post office

    • If you're looking for a special way to mark the special day, St. John’s Christian Church in Groton will sponsor a citywide unity service celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 10 a.m. at the church at 346 Shennecossett Road.

    All are welcome. Rev. Joseph L. Coleman is pastor.
