Auditions for HARVEY, a production of Groton Regional Theatre

(GRT) is thrilled to announce auditions for its upcoming production of


HARVEY by Mary Chase -- the beloved classic that revolves around a man's


close friendship with a large rabbit that's invisible to all but him!

Roles available are:

ELWOOD P. DOWD, mid-40s, rabbit lover
VETA LOUISE SIMMONS, Elwood's sister, 40s
MYRTLE MAE SIMMONS, Veta's daughter, 20s
MRS ETHEL CHAUVANET, society snob, 65
RUTH KELLY, nurse, 24
DUANE WILSON, burly attendant, 28
DR. LYMAN SANDERSON, good looking, 27-28
DR. WILLIAM CHUMLEY, large, 57
BETTY CHUMLEY, doctor's wife, good-natured, 55
JUDGE OMAR GAFFNEY, elderly
E.J. LOFGREN, cab driver (nice cameo)

Auditions will be held on the following days and times:

Sunday, August 4 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM
Monday, August 5 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

The director will be H. Victor Panciera.

Production dates will be October 11-13, 19-20, and 26-27
Friday and Saturday performances 8:00 PM
Sunday performances 2:00 PM

Groton Regional Theatre (GRT) is also 

looking for backstage and technical help HARVEY and for future productions. Whether or not you

have experience, we welcome you to become part of the team! We have people who can teach and train in any area, including:

Set design
Set building
Set painting
Set decor
Lighting
Sound
Props
Costumes
House manager
Tickets
Photography
Videography
