Discover Local Authors Series

National speaker and business coach Nancy Butler will be speaking and reading from her inspirational memoir, Above All Else: Success in Life and Business at Discover Local Authors @ the Groton Senior Center on Thursday, December 5, at 6:30 p.m. Discover Local Authors is an author series sponsored jointly by the Groton Senior Center and the Groton Public Library.

After a divorce that left her with no child support or alimony, Butler  set out to find a career that would not only support her children but would also help other people. She started a business from scratch and built it to approximately $200 million in assets. During her career, Butler worked with thousands of individuals, organizations and businesses to help improve performance and build personal and financial success. She has been quoted in many local and national publications, including USA Today and The Day.  She has been a speaker for major corporations, such as Pfizer, General Dynamics and Dow Chemical.
