Join students from a UConn Race, Gender and Culture Industry course on  November 26, from 7 p.m. - 9  p.m. at the Library as they lead a discussion of gay rights, focusing on how civility plays a role in societal views, stereotypes and behavior towards sexual orientation and gender identification. Using Dr. P.M. Forni’s concept of civility, and keeping his rules of civility in mind throughout the event, presenters will address the way that gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and inter-gender members of our society are treated. Videos, open discussion and a presentation will be included. No registration is required.
