Lawrence + Memorial Hospital will hold a hand screening for seniors Thursday, February 28, from to 1 to 2 p.m. at the Groton Senior Center.
Certified Hand Therapist Ann Roth will host a brief educational session followed by an actual screening for seniors with hand issues.
This session is part of a larger series offered by L+M that provides seniors with an opportunity to learn more about specific health concerns. A new topic will be presented each month until June.
March will address memory, April will address incontinence, hearing will be addressed in May and the series will conclude in June with a discussion on falls.
Each session will take place at the Groton Senior Center located at 102 Newtown Road in Groton.
