The weekend design event will take place October 25-28, 2012 in Old Lyme, CT.

This year’s event builds on the success of our inaugural
event, Interior Inspirations 2010. We welcomed over 2,000 visitors during the 2010 event which included interior design enthusiasts who not only enjoyed viewing the design vignettes, inspirational speakers and boutique offerings, but they also discussed future projects with designers onsite, bought books for author signatures and purchased gifts for family and friends. Drawing visitors
from New York to Massachusetts (with a primary draw from Fairfield County) we introduced many people to the delightful treasures of Southeastern Connecticut
on a lovely autumn weekend.

This year’s event promises to be a wonderful success as
well. Interior Inspirations will again be held at the historic Lyme Art Association and, directly across the street, the newly renovated Old Lyme Inn,
in beautiful Old Lyme, CT. The venue is easily accessible from I-95 and the southern end of Route 9. Event highlights include eight designers including Honorary Chair Larry Laslo (profiled in the May 2012 Elle
Décor), will transform the Lyme Art Association into an exquisite designer vignette showcase.  Vignettes will be
“unveiled” at our October 25th preview party.   The designers include Larry Laslo, Patricia Spratt, Thomas Rose, Marilee McKinnon, Virginia Linburg, Nina Cuccio Peck Architect and Interiors, Matilda Design Company and Galway Stallard.

A carefully selected boutique of artisanal and luxury items will provide visitors the chance to purchase just the right gift or a wonderful remembrance of their
weekend.

A speaker series, including best-selling authors Jane Green and Alexandra Stoddard, will provide a weekend of inspiration.  A total of six talks will be given, including a roundtable of the featured vignette designers.  The speakers include Larry Laslo, Jane Green, Peter Romaniello, Alexandra Stoddard, Louis Raymond, Roxanne Coady, and Priscilla Martel.

The mission of Child & Family Agency of
Southeastern Connecticut is to promote the well-being and development of all children and their families, in particular to give priority to the unmet needs
of children lacking physical, emotional and intellectual care and nurturing.  Child & Family’s programs
deal with the prevention of child abuse, the treatment of family violence, teen pregnancy, children's health care, child care, parent education and children’s
mental health issues. Last year the Agency served over 17,000 children and their families in 79 towns in Southeastern Connecticut.
