Circle of Friends of the Groton Public Library Fall Meeting

Join the Circle of Friends of the Groton Public Library for a Fall Meeting on Monday, September 24, at 5:30 p.m. 

The Circle of Friends is an enthusiastic group of people working to ensure that the Groton Public Library can continue to provide quality resources to the citizens of Groton. Founded in 2005, this nonprofit organization:

  • Encourages all citizens to use the library
  • Raises money to enhance library programs
  • Publicizes specific library activities
  • Supports policies and funding to strengthen libraries
  • Promotes reading and literacy
  • Supports municipal, state and federal funding for the Groton Public Library.

Following the meeting, Kathleen O'Beirne, a Mystic author, will present a talk, "Everything I Ever Needed to Know, I Learned in My Garden" at 7 p.m. The program is free and open to all. No reservations are required for the talk.
