Join the Circle of Friends for their annual business meeting to offer suggestions for ways to support our Library. The Circle of Friends supports the Library by providing funding for special projects. Attendees will also elect officers and hear an update on the Library and a report on the volunteer program. After the meeting, the Circle of Friends will set up refreshments for a lecture by Dr. Richard Burger from Yale University. The lecture starts at 7:30 p.m.; Dr. Burger will discuss the recent agreement he helped negotiate on behalf of Yale to return the Machu Picchu artifacts that had been at the Yale Peabody Museum for nearly 100 years to a university in Peru.
Both events are free and open to all.
