Wireless Zone & The Women's Center of SECT Mother's Day Promotion Event!

As the ancient proverb goes, "God could not be everywhere and therefore he made Mothers.” As the cornerstone of family, our cherished guardians and most faithful role models, Happy Mother’s Day to all of the present and future Mom’s of the world! The Women’s Center of Southeastern CT and the Wireless Zone would like to extend a special thank you and dedicate this month in celebration of
motherhood!

As a display of appreciation, Wireless Zone and the Women’s Center of Southeastern CT have partnered together in an effort to not only commend outstanding mothers, but raise money for mothers in need as well. The Women’s Center strives for a violence-free society by providing services to those affected by sexual assault and domestic violence. Through community education, prevention programs, and a safe shelter for those in need, the Women’s Center is always available to help. Wireless
Zone praises their hard work and dedication to the cause.

This Mother’s Day, purchase a greeting card created especially for the Women’s Center for the special mother
in your life! All of the proceeds will support the Women’s Center in their effort to create a better, safer life for the women affected by violence. Featuring original photography by Roberta A. Sulls, the beautiful greeting card
will be both a gift for mom and a contribution for a wonderful cause!

Cards are available for a contribution of $25, and in honor of your support, Wireless Zone has included a $25 gift certificate in each card!!! Keep the gift certificate for your future purchase, or leave it in the card for Mom! Wireless Zone is honored to be a part of such a phenomenal fundraiser, and extends a warm thank you in advance for
all of the community’s contributions and support.

Wireless Zone in Groton, New London, Norwich and Lisbon will have the cards available for purchase on May 4th until Mother’s Day! On May 5th, come down and celebrate the cause with 97.7 WCTY from 10 to noon in the Groton Plaza! Spin the prize wheel and honor Mother’s Day too!
