Downtown Mystic Shop Owner Donates $500 to the Groton Animal Foundation

Local Mystic Store Owner Gives to the Groton Animal Foundation.

Cindy McClelland, owner of She Accessories and Envy, placed paw print stickers on items in each of her two stores. If that item was purchased, she set aside $1 dollar for the Groton Animal Foundation. Today, she handed a check for $500 to Mary Kelly, Groton Animal Foundation's president and Heather Picazio, vice president.

Mary Kelly urged shoppers with special women in their lives to patronize McClelland's two stores. "Not only does she have beautiful jewelry and accessories, she is giving back to her community," Kelly stated.

The Groton Animal Foundation Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which raises funds to subsidize the general needs of the Town of Groton Animal Control Facility and the medical needs of its animals.

In addition, the Groton Animal Foundation advocates for the animals by educating the public and funding ancillary programs.
