The 15th annual Groton Holiday Lights Parade is Saturday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m.  The parade route is along U. S. Route 1 in Groton from South Rd to Drozdyk Dr. Plenty of free parking is available for viewers.

There will be floats from community groups, fire trucks and festive holiday music.

Immediately after the parade, Santa Claus will light the holiday tree on the green at the rear of the Groton Shopping Plaza.  Parents, you are invited to take your child’s photograph with Santa Claus. Steve Elci and Friends will provide the post-parade entertainment. There will be free refreshments and a small gift for kids, donated by Grader Jewelers. Judging will take place as participants pass by Chelsea Groton Bank.

The Groton Business Association sponsors the parade.

And to get you in the mood, we've attached a few of our favorite holiday lights parade photos from previous years!
