Betty Ann Prochaska, 82, a member of Groton Representative Town Meeting for nearly 20 years, died Feb. 9, at home, two days before her 83rd birthday.

Bradley D. Barber, 77, of Griswold Street in Pawcatuck, who retired from Electric Boat in Groton, died Feb. 10, at Rhode Island Hospital.

William "Barney" L. Barnhill Sr., 75, died Friday, Feb. 15 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, after a short illness.

Eugenie "Jeannie" Buzenski, widow of Dr. Henry J. Buzenski who died Feb. 11, 2001; they were married for 52 years, died Sunday, Feb. 10, after a long battle from leukemia.

Milton P. Freeman, 85, of Berlin, who was born in Groton, died Feb. 16 at Southington Care.

Emily Marie (Zeppieri) Higgins, who was born in Groton and married at Sacred Heart Church, died Feb. 16, after a short illness.

John P. Legnos, 93, of Groton Long Point and Ocala, Fla., died on Jan. 25.

Alma Gloria "Sissy" Pestana, 62, of 324 Thames St., Groton, died Feb. 13 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, New London.

Pauline S. Manca, 84, formerly of Avery Hill Road, Ledyard, died Feb. 13, at Fairview in Groton.

Steven Frank Petrowski Jr., 59, of 281 Hamilton Ave., Norwich, who has relatives in Groton, died Feb. 7.

Helena (Farnham) Santacroce, 95, of 74 Chapman St., Groton, died Feb. 13 at Fairview in Groton.
