Obituaries: Leo Facchini, Sr., Anthony DeFrancesco Sr., Carolyn "Carlie" M. Powers (Klestinec) Gunn, Richard Leroy Pomroy

Leo Facchini, Sr., 90, of Waterford, who ran an Italian grocery and grinder shop in Groton for 18 years before buying and operating The El Bolero Cafe, also in Groton, died Feb. 22 in New London.

Anthony DeFrancesco Sr., 89 of Northford, who has relatives in Groton died at CT Hospice of Branford on Feb. 22.

Carolyn "Carlie" M. Powers (Klestinec) Gunn, 95, who was married to Robert J. Klestinec of the U.S. Coast Guard who predeceased her, and to Gilman C. Gunn Jr. of Groton, who also predeceased her, died Feb. 22.

Richard Leroy Pomroy, 76, of Groton, died Feb. 21 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
