John S. Peterson, 72, of Nicholas Avenue in Groton passed away Tuesday June 10, 2014, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London.
John was born on Nov. 9, 1942 in New London the son of Emil and Matilda Gustufson Peterson.
He had served in the U. S. Navy following the Korean War and then had gone on to a career as an Electrical Designer at the Electric Boat Company in Groton from which he retired.
